Journey Begins – 2

To offer selflessly

Energy Space

It is day 2, as a Yoga teacher and practitioner.

After a busy day at work and connecting with many people virtually, In the evening I simply gravitated towards my backyard. My intuitions led me right under the cherry tree which is currently filled with beautiful red sour cherries. The last rays of sun filtered right through the leaves and my eyes closed themselves to soak it all in.

I do not know how much time passed in physical words as I stayed there centered with myself, the tree, the grass, the earth beneath, and the sun shining above. I stayed, breathing the same air as everyone else in the universe connecting to the same earth we all share. Being just one little energy particle of this universe, and energy never fails to respond. The exhilaration of connecting, knowing, and passing the energies remains to be the only experience that stays with us. As everything else moves, changes, or responds, it carries the energy within and transforms with it. I wondered how many lengths of time and spaces the energy must have traveled, that I am experiencing right now. No response was needed to my ego-mind on that, as the energy was quite evident and the present moment.

When I came back, the tree was adorned with a whole bunch of birds. I shared some of their cherries too, and they let me. The beautiful red sour cherries, which has been the same way since I have known the tree. I recall wondering, why this isn’t sweet and if they will ever change the taste. Rejecting those cherries somewhat for its sour taste.

Regardless of my feeling, every spring the tree-filled up to offer selflessly.

The birds arrive, sometimes they make nests too and then they leave. Their relationship of energy stays, rejuvenating in every season. While physical space constantly shifts and never attaches completely, how can we not connect and ignore these connections at the energy space which is always passing through us in constant motion.

With every passing breath, we connect, we belong and we live.

Om.
