Are you a seed?
Seed.
Something, that stores potential of an entire life even when detached from its source for a long time.
Something, that waits and waits for just the right temperature, moisture, sun or soil to become something new.
Something, that is willing to destroy itself to form a life in a whole different way.
Are you a seed?
Aren’t we all?
In fact, we are more than just one seed.
As humans, we are blessed and capable of transforming ourselves in many different ways at any stage of life. We are one seed inside the other to infinity. As we continue to go deeper, we continue to grow into one form of life to another. Sometimes, we bore fruits and other times we are adorned with fragrant flowers which may not feed somebody but can be aesthetic. Sometimes, we are just like a whole bunch of soothing and healing herbs. We have the potential and capabilities to be all of that, and more.
Under one condition though.
We should be willing to break that shell each time and turn into dust to allow the growth to happen. While knowing, that circumstances are constantly changing and it might get too hot for a seedling to appear. The supply of moisture may stop right when needed. Too many variables and unpredictability surround this process. But that risk is always worth it.
The growth is very different than aging. A seed can continue to age while sitting in that container on a shelf far back. But it erupts with life and grows into something that is one of its kinds, when it finds the right circumstances. Universe is always working around us to provide those circumstances, if we choose to leap out of that container. It takes a miracle and enormous strength to get out, but it is not impossible.
So if you are a seed, keep looking out and when its time leap out for your chance. Be willing to participate in this beautiful destruction, because eventually nature works its way and we all become part of this beautiful garden.
Pay attention, when spring calls.
