Thoughts are an outcome of the game that mind keeps playing, based on multiple things. Such as, preconceived notions, old beliefs, traditions from ancestors and our own fears and biases. Thoughts are the products of ego mind which is always judging, analyzing and then concluding. The conclusions don’t last forever though, another round of judging and analyzing kicks off as soon as the mind is back up.
If you are somebody who has been responding to fears for a long time or has been shame stricken, it is likely that the wheel of thoughts never stop and you keep them spinning exhausting all the energy you might have. It feels like you are trapped and nothing ever moves forward, but continue to safe guard those deep fears. And wonder, why.
On the other hand actions are generally driven by an end goal and a decisions of intuitive mind. Actions are the leap of faith with varying percentage of risk associated with them. The unknown outcome is always in the play when someone is executing an action. Actions are an opportunities for opening to path ways or ending the old ones. Actions require courage while thoughts can be happening in isolation, without any judgement, criticism or change. Yes, thoughts without action cannot bring a change.
Without the drive to act upon, thoughts are just that…thoughts.
So, what do you think?
Choice is yours, and there is always one.
