The Journey

We all have our own definition of the journey at this point in time.

Maybe your journey today was the get to work or bring the kids to school and back home. It might also be your journey to someplace far away or returning home from another. We all kind of plan and arrange ourselves for these journeys that we have to take every now and then.

While many of us find the concept of journey exciting, an opportunity to explore unknown …other might not be so welcoming and they may be fearful.. try to delay the journey as much as they can and contemplate all the scenario if they must take that journey, all the problems that they might have to face along that journey and how to best prepare them.

A small portion of this may even get so overwhelmed that they drop everything and hide rather than to take the journey. But nature doesn’t know stagnancy. Nature is like a flowing river that keeps going and taking everything with it. Everything. And so ultimately we all have to keep going on this journey from birth to death and everything in between. Willingly or not.

We find that while some people tend to sail through, others just drag along. All the time and we wonder how? And we also secretly desire to be them. Those are the people who have figured things out, those are the people who are just determined to enjoy the journey, they don’t carry too much, they travel light and they travel quickly. Because the roads are endless but the time that’s allocated to the human form of the journey, it is not. I say that specifically because time is as endless and as subjective as the path. But, as humans, we get a limited perspective of time and association with the path. Do you know or remember somebody in your life who just pass you like a gust of wind but leave unforgettable impressions. It’s those people if you care to join them…they sometimes take you on a heck of a ride but then again each must choose their own as it applies to their soulful search.

Those people who aren’t hesitant to explore and willingly turn around if a path doesn’t end very well. They don’t get tired because there is not much luggage on them, they explore, create and keep moving. Keep going for more and new and unknown and potential opening up a new horizon for themselves and rest they meet along the way….Their minds aren’t sticky loadful but more like those lotus leaves which is wide and accepting to all. Every water drop that falls on it shines with its own aura until it rolls off and makes space for new one leaving the leaf beneath in its true original form irrespective of what falls on it or grows underneath.

With that said, I wish we all can embark on our journeys light and celebrate life to its full potential.
